Bayern Munich president drops bold transfer admission before PSG game

Bayern Munich readily admits that Achraf Hakimi is the best in the world in his position, to the point of dreaming of signing him with immediate effect if the opportunity arose. Not sure that PSG would agree, though.

We are already seeing some words designed to build tension ahead of the big match, and Bayern Munich always enjoys it. Especially before playing PSG. After taking a beating at certain moments of the first leg, the German club came out of it rather well by losing only 5-4 at the Parc des Princes last week. Enough to regain hope for the return leg, which will take place this Wednesday at the Allianz Arena.

For this match, Hakimi, 27, will be absent due to injury, after having given his all in the first leg. The Moroccan decided to travel to Munich to stay with his teammates and encourage them. And if he wants to hear what Bayern Munich has to say about his future, then he will not be disappointed

In an interview with DAZN, Bayern’s supervisory board and Honorary President Uli Hoeness admitted that he would love to offer a contract to the PSG defender. “If there is one PSG player I can recruit, it is Achraf Hakimi. We would take him immediately, because he would adapt perfectly to our system,” he said. He knows that Hakimi made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund, where he exploded early with the very offensive style of play in the Bundesliga.

That said, Bayern Munich will have to wait, because Hakimi is very happy at PSG. And if he were to leave Paris one day, we can imagine that it would be to return to Real Madrid, his hometown club. And in any case, despite Bayern’s efforts to strengthen in recent years, it is not at all certain that Nasser Al-Khelaifi would be willing to sell his Lion of the Atlas, who represents Luis Enrique’s style very well.

matchday.
