PSG show interest in RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomandé

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Yan Diomandé (19) and have already made enquiries about the player, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

A story that could well dominate the headlines in the coming weeks, with several Premier League clubs – as well as Bayern Munich – reportedly setting their sights on the new star of Ivorian football.

Having joined RB Leipzig from CD Leganés for €20 million last summer, the Abidjan-born player quickly made his mark in Germany, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 29 appearances in all competitions (24 starts) for the Saxon club — with whom he is under contract until 2030.

A dynamic winger capable of playing on either flank of the attack, the Ivory Coast international – who has nine caps and three goals to his name – has made remarkable progress in the space of just a few months.

In that sense, seeing him move to a top-flight club seems the logical next step following a meteoric start to his career, given that his first professional goal came as recently as 11th May 2025. Less than a year ago.

matchday.
