Bradley Barcola remains an injury concern for Paris Saint-Germain after wearing an orthopedic boot at the end of the 3-0 victory against Chelsea on Tuesday night.

Barcola scored PSG’s second goal at Stamford Bridge, eight minutes after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia broke the deadlock.

The 23-year-old appeared to have twisted his ankle during a challenge with Joao Pedro and he replaced by Desire Doue in the 53rd minute.

Barcola is expected to undergo comprehensive medical checks when PSG return to Paris later on Wednesday.

What Enrique said about Barcola’s injury

PSG coach Luis Enrique remains optimistic about Barcola’s situation, describing his decision to replace the winger as ‘nothing important’.

Enrique said: “We will have to wait until tomorrow (Wednesday) to know for sure. Nothing important, but I’m not a doctor. Nothing important for Neves either.”

Joao Neves is another player suspected to have picked up an injury in the encounter after he was replaced at the end of first-half by
