PSG players and coaching crew led by president Nasser Al-Khelaifi paid tribute to Hillsborough tragedy victims and Diogo Jota just before Tuesday’s Champions League game against Liverpool.

The powerful touching gesture was led by club president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Portuguese stars in the team – Vitinha, Joao Neves and Nuno Mendes who all laid their bouquets of flowers.

The tribute will continue on Tuesday before the big game with a minute’s silence set to be observed in memory of victims of the Hillsborough disaster and during the game as well, with players set to wear black armbands.

The last time the Rogue et Bleu visited Anfield in 2025, they managed to beat Liverpool 1-0 and they went on to win the two-legged encounter on penalties.
